Prof. dr. Mona Fouad, Dean of faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, and prof.d.Nahla Ghraib , Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and prof. dr.jan Ibrahim, chairman of the Chinese Language Department of the faculty received a high-level Chinese delegation of Beijing University. The delegation is headed by Mr. Che chiyan Ji, Plenipotentiary Chinese Minister, d. Chi Chao, Dean of the Faculty of Education in order to discuss aspects of cooperation between Alsun at Ain Shams University and Beijing University, as part of cultural exchange between Egypt and China.
The two sides exchanged views on the scholarship program for international students between the two universities, as well as joint academic programs that can yield effective cooperation on the student level. As well as the exchange of professors with each other, and the two sides exchanged the draft of understanding between the two universities for the exchange of experiences of professors.
Prof. dr. Mona Fouad, Dean of faculty of Al-Alsun,stressed on the fact that Ain Shams University, and Beijing University, are of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world. In the light of the good relations between the two countries, Ain Shams University seeks to achieve maximum benefit through cultural cooperation and the exchange of educational experiences on academic programs and faculty expertise to achieve the dissemination of culture between the two universities.
Mr. Che Qian Ji, Plenipotentiary Chinese Minister in Cairo announced that the Chinese Embassy in Cairo provides 5 scholarships for students of Alsun to study at Beijing University for a year. Pointing out that the Chinese Embassy supports scientific and cultural exchange of the experiences of Ain Shams University; As Al-Alsun faculty is one of the best faculties that specialized in languages in the world. It has been classified as one of the top 500 universities in the world, and therefore, Beijing University is keen to conclude memorandums of understanding with Ain Shams University.
