Prof. D. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting President of the University said that the university is always keen to provide all the material resources and psychosocial support to their sons, students living on campus. This is because of the importantance of psychological construction of the students and not to their sense of Homesickness due to being away from their loved ones.
This came during a preparatory meeting for the program of rehabilitation and psychosocial support to students in university cities, which was held this morning at Zafaran palace under the supervision of Community Service and Environmental Development sector, in collaboration with the Education and Student Affairs sector at the university.
Mr. Mohammed El-Deeb assistant Secretary for student affairs added that this program is a positive steps offered by the university with the beginning of a new school year in an effort to protect students from being exposed to any psychological problems and rehabilitation to meet the job market after graduation. El-Deeb said that there will be a number of workshops for the rehabilitation of social workers on how to deal with new students and old problems and how to solve them and to provide them with assistance in various aspects of university life.
The meeting was held in the presence of the general managers of university cities, nutrition departments, social workers and supervisors.
